About Gösta Grönberg
Gösta Grönberg was born in 1889 and grew up in Eskilstuna. He first studied in Uppsala and graduated in 1914. During the war years, he studied law in Stockholm and graduated in 1917 and served on the State Trade Commission under Deputy County Governor Marcus Wallenberg, who was also CEO of Stockholms Enskilda Bank.
In 1918, at the age of 29, he married the then 24-year-old Elissa Brorström. After serving as a magistrate, he joined the Ministry of Agriculture and then moved to Stockholms Enskilda Bank as head of the notary department. In addition to his work at the bank, Gösta also taught practical business law to students at the Stockholm School of Economics. In addition, he gave correspondence courses in commercial law.
In 1929, he founded Grönberg Advokatbyrå - a time when Gösta was a dominant figure in the Stockholm legal world. Grönberg Advokatbyrå was largely run by Gösta Grönberg, and the firm had an extensive, exciting and sometimes turbulent business during his time. Gösta was also active as a board member in several companies, including Forshaga, Rörstrand, Öbergs in Eskilstuna and Bukowskis Konsthandel.
Gösta Grönberg worked at his law firm until his death at the age of 75 in 1965.
